World Environment Day, celebrated globally on June 5th, 2024 was marked with enthusiasm and commitment at SRVN Group of Institutions this year. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage sustainable practices among students and staff. The celebration included a vibrant procession, interactives, and engaging presentations, all highlighting the importance of protecting our planet.
On International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024, our school hosted a vibrant celebration that highlighted the importance of wellness and mindfulness. Students participated in a series of Yoga sessions led by experienced instructors, focusing on poses and breathing techniques. The day ended with a group meditation, leaving everyone feeling refreshed and inspired.
The school investiture ceremony was a significant event held to appoint and honor the new student leaders on 22nd June,2024. The ceremony began with an impressive procession of the incoming leaders, followed by a formal Oath - taking where they pledge to uphold the school's values and responsibilities . The President of SRVN Group of Institutions Smt. Bindu Ramesh delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing leadership qualities and the importance of dedication. Each leader was presented with a badge, symbolizing their new roles.
Our school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, starting with a vibrant march past by the students. The event began with the hoisting of the National flag, accompanied by the national anthem, which set a patriotic tone for the day. Students in neatly pressed uniforms paraded across the field, showcasing their discipline and pride. The festivities continued with inspirational speeches and cultural performances that highlighted India's rich heritage and freedom struggle. The celebration concluded with a sense of unity and patriotism, leaving everyone inspired and proud.
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, July 26, 2024 our school held a heartfelt ceremony to honor that bravery of the Indian Soldiers who fought in the Kargil War. The event began with a solemn silent prayer followed by a moving tribute where students presented speeches and recited poems about the sacrifices made by the troops. The day concluded with a melodious performance of patriotic songs, instilling a sense of National pride and gratitude among everyone present.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) No - Poverty Awareness Programme was implemented at our school to educate students about global poverty issues and promote actionable solutions. On 6th July, 2024, through interactive workshops and discussions, students gained insights into the causes and effects of poverty, as well as the importance of sustainable development. The program encouraged students to engage in service projects and advocacy , fostering a sense of global responsibility.
On Nelson Mandela Day celebrated on 18th July 2024, our school held a vibrant celebration to honor his legacy . The event featured a series of educational workshops that highlighted Mandela's contributions to peace and justice. Students gave talk on the topic and songs that depicted key moments from his life, emphasizing his fight for equality. The day concluded with a reflective assembly, where attendees shared their thoughts on how to continue Mandela's mission of making a positive impact in the world.
Our school celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the dedication and hard work of our educators. The event kicked off with a heartfelt assembly where students performed songs, skits, and speeches expressing their gratitude. Each teacher received a personalized gift and a handwritten note from their students.
